Namibia

Botswana

Botswana offers some of the world’s premier safari destinations. With the correct assistance and our knowledge it also need not be un-affordable. It has an extensive road network suitable for normal vehicles, friendly people and beautiful nature. As the region is so diverse and large (about the size of western Europe) that the question you should be asking is when can I travel and/or which route or region is most suited to our travel wishes.

Overview of destinations and itineraries 

Does a best time to travel exist?

Interesting fact: The area of South Africa, Namibia, Botswana ,Lesotho and Swaziland combined is about 98% of the total area of all Europe! With such an enormous area the climate and variation in both plant and animal life is vast.

South Africa is a year round destination. Depending on your exact wishes and time of year you travel we might decide to sometimes reverse or change the route slightly.

Namibia is also a year round destination. The far north and parts of the Namib can be extremely hot. Should you wish to avoid extreme heat travel from April and October.

Botswana is the ultimate safari destination. The Okavango Delta and Chobe can sometimes become dry during the last months of summer concentrating animal life to spots where there is water. Travelling to Victoria Falls from Kasane (Chobe) could also be affected but will also mean that travelling costs are lower.
